Oct. 11 is PICTURE DAY at Classical Conversations of Greensboro. We welcome Gina Childress back to our community to photograph our sweet children. Gina has years of experience with CC groups, and we are thankful to have secured time in her busy schedule! We will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Foundations tutors' families. I (Erin Richardson) will be coordinating sitting times for each Foundations family and will touch base with more details soon. But since we're only three CC Tuesdays away, I wanted to get the information out ASAP so you can start planning now. Even if you choose not to have your child(ren)'s individual photos taken, they'll be photographed with their class and the group as a whole at the close of the Foundations morning.
Below is a note from Gina to those who want their child(ren) photographed:
For environmental (outdoor) pictures, it is best to dress your child(ren) in very simple patterns and solids. Busy prints and shirts with large logos tend to greatly distract from the child's picture. We want the face to be the focal point.
Also, I will be glad to photograph siblings that are not in the group. Children will be photographed individually only (not with their siblings).
If you have questions or concerns about pictures, please contact me, the photographer, at 336-407-8529, or info@picturethisbygina.com.
Gina's pictures are high quality, reasonably priced, and make great Christmas gifts. Unlike some photo shoots where you have to order a package without having seen a proof, Gina will post our proofs securely on her website and give us a passcode to view them before we place our orders.
Also, I am hoping that, perhaps with Challenge students' help, we might be able to form a yearbook committee. Any scrapbookers or former yearbook staffers who'd be interested in advising a handful of middle and high schoolers through this process???
We will have order forms available on the altar during assembly each Tuesday. For those who'd like to view Gina's online gallery, here is her website:
